How To Make Plantain Pizza


My love for pizza is out of this world but sure, i do not abuse on it because too much of everything is bad. I like to make a homemade pizza and sometimes order but very rare. I like making my own pizza because it taste very better. I do not eat all kind of pizza but my preference is usually with pepperoni or salami.

This recipe is an exception and i must say i have found another pizza recipe that i will make more often in place of pepperoni pizza. Plantain pizza is the new recipe in town, you might ask why choose plantain for the topping. Pizza toppings are endless, from fruits, proteins, seafood, vegetables and even nuts.

Be creative with your pizza toppings, just anything that suits your taste bud. This pizza is the best plantain pizza i have ever made, if you do not like meat on your pizza, this recipe is for you. Ingredients

400g Kashkaval or mozzarella cheese
1 Package active dry yeast
400g all purpose flour
1 Teaspoon sugar
Vegetable oil
1 Ripe plantains
½ Cup warm water
Green chili pepper
Green chili pepper
Cornmeal
Pizza sauce
Bell pepper
Olives
Directions


Peel the skin of one plantain and mash it up with a potato masher or with a fork. Empty the pack of yeast in the mashed plantain and mix. Now add the 400g of plain flour, add the sugar then combine. Start adding the warm water gradually until the dough is gathered and formed.








Place on a kneading surface and knead further until pliable. Place in a bowl and cover with a plastic cling then place in a warm place, preferably in a warm oven until doubled in size.Enjoy!
